Private Tours
Want to check out some distilleries? Bourbon VIP offers behind the scenes tours that the average visitor does not receive. These custom tours range from 60 to 90 minutes and are led by the Master Distiller, or someone of similar stature. With this behind the scenes tour, you’ll receive an education that most do not. You’ll hear stories that are not normally told from the legends of the industry themselves. And at many of the distilleries you will get to taste bourbon straight from the barrel. This is one of the most exciting experiences in bourbon. We must admit, It doesn’t get better than standing in the rickhouse with a bourbon legend drinking bourbon straight from the barrel!
Private Barrel Picks
Many distilleries offer liquor stores the opportunity to buy entire, single barrels of bourbon. They yield anywhere from 50 to 200 bottles normally. They generally have their own label on every bottle, in addition to the brand’s standard label. This is very difficult for individuals to accomplish. At Bourbon VIP, we offer you the opportunity to buy your own barrel. We have a relationship with many distilleries, as well as with liquor stores from all over the country that allows us to do what most groups can’t do. For serious bourbon connoisseurs, this is the pinnacle of the hobby. Your very own single barrel of bourbon!
Private Dinners
Bourbon VIP is has partnered with many of Louisville’s best restaurants and chefs. We offer a variety of dining experiences. You can do dinner on site at the distillery with their Master Distiller. If you wish to return to the city, there are many great restaurants with private dining areas that can be reserved for you and your party. And, if you’d like to return to your lodging, we can have one of Louisville’s top chefs prepare dinner for you in your relaxed setting. Louisville’s food scene is fast growing and one of the top-ranked in the country. With so many great chefs and restaurants in our region, we are more than happy to arrange any dinner that you’d like to have in the setting you’d like to enjoy it in.
